I’m not a comics fan usually, but I decided to give this a go because the movie released this year was based on it. I’m delightfully impressed by the artwork and storytelling in a format that I’m not used to. Just because it’s a picture book, it does not lack polished vocabulary or adult themes that I seek in novels or other formats of entertainment.
