3. Paige is way too petty in the context of the romance sometimes and she comes off as immature. She is not immature in any other context. Maybe naive but not immature. She is 20 so to a degree I could see it but she has done things that are borderline unbelievable for a 20 year old to do (and no one ever comments on it which is also a little unbelievable). I think her feelings are understandable. It’s how she acts on them that are ?!?! I get she has trust issues (past and current) that make sense character-wise but she was straight up cruel? Warden’s actions are for the greater good both personally and externally. Yes, it’s for the angst but with where the plot is going this book, good angst could happen without the meanness.

But she can’t handle, imo, very reasonable behavior in her forbidden love romance. Like these decisions are made to avoid DEATH! Literally! Decisions that ALSO protect an already fragile alliance. It’s VERY important! Her behavior in book 1 made complete, there was only one moment in book 2 and I was a like “eh I kinda get it” but this thing in book 3 is ?! I am baffled. To be continued

I have many thoughts already
1. Insane reveal in just the prologue. Didn’t even get to page 1 and I gasped.
2. Several times so far locations are just not described. Just “We went to Proper Place” and thats it. SOMETIMES we get “it’s a building” and that’s it but other times it’s nothing. It is a building? A house? A park? Are they inside? Outside? Don’t know. Its odd? To be continued…
