The pacing of this book feels a lot like sitting in very weird traffic. It inches forwards at an agonizing pace until it suddenly takes off at 90 mph. And then you get whiplash slamming the brakes back on ten minutes later. Despite this, I am still enjoying this “whacky dnd party” group of characters immensely.
