also i kind of thought that gem was going to be a disguised version of Ríoghan’s Jewel

with all the language they use, the book, in a way, throws you in the middle of a world and expects you to catch up

this is medieval legally blonde. the romance has me genuinely kicking my feet and giggling. i wish they had delved a bit more into ronan hating clía immediately, but this book is already pretty long.
