This was a dnf for me. Curious what you think...

I’m trying. I just finished the “first date” scene at the Met. It was long and drawn out and a bit boring. And all the talk about economics. Again, boring. This one may end up on my DNF list as well. I’ll keep you posted.

Ok so it’s a DNF.
Why? It’s boring. There is so much unnecessary stuff! Examples: the visit to the met and then in-depth conversation about Lili’s thesis. The author is a terrific writer but she really could have, in my opinion, left 25 of the first 50 pages out. This was an unfortunate Book of the Month choice for me. I’m kicking myself that I actually paid for this (note to self: use the library more, Jeni. Geez…)
