Struggling a bit with this one. Small actions tend to have severe consequences. Characters seem to be petty at small offenses. The book feels overly wordy.

I was thinking the same thing, sometimes I'm just like woah that's so extreme! After a particular revelation something clicked for me though. I'm enjoying the wordiness but I can see how it can be too much.
