Martha Wells is poking at some really interesting dynamics of discrimination and privilege, I really hope she goes all the way and there's some real exploration of it in the near future! these characters and their world are sooo interesting

its so funny how martha wells' main characters can simultaneously be interesting/well written and also feel like a middleschooler's cool guy OC
