Antilochus son of Nestor is engaging in completely unethical wheel. Absolutely shameful chariot driving, squeezing Meneleus at the hairpin. They're calling him an ancient forefather of Max Emilian born of the house of Verstappen.

When the worst men on earth remember you as gentle and kind, it's so moving, but it's like saying here's my dead gay friend Patroclus. He's so nice and gay. Did you know he's gay? Animals love him. Achilles really likes him. He's not like us. And I enjoy this. I just fear Madeline Miller fixated on this too heavily. Pat, my gay friend, dearest war criminal, has earned the respect of the worst men alive for a reason.

Diomedes might be the goat. He's the only guy in the Greek camp that isn't delusional, insufferable, or a rapist (at the time of reading, but due to the way society operated it's highly unlikely that any ancient Greek man wasn't a rapist. Uncomfortable discussions must be had.)

I should make epithets. Goatlike Diomedes Master of Not Dying After The Trojan War. Master of Very Reasonable Advice. Son of Common Sense.

First in my bloodline to cry on the bus over Hector, tamer of horses.

Nothing's happened yet but he's so dead. He's the most dead character of all time. He's going to die. Horrors are in store. He knows. I know. We all know. Do you think it'll be different this time? Do you think Andromache will see her husband and son healthy and alive? Woe upon me

No one ever talks about how Odysseus is basically overworked middle management. Just running around doing shit because Agamemnon is useless.

You know if anyone else was waving around the GOAT sceptre Aggy would be so fucking mad. But it's okay, Mr Built Like A Barrel will get the job done. He will give thousands of men a 1:1 to discuss failing to meet their KPIs. Beat them if needed. Just offshoring some workers.
