Well, we've found the sites and now we're into the academic fallout, the politics and how the gov of Honduras is going to protect similar important sites in their country.
Continues to be a highly readable, highly educative adventure for anybody interested in archaeology and the trials and tribulations associated with it.

I've never really seen the appeal of travel lit before, as the likes of Bill Bryson doesn't do it for me. But this? This is pure excitement! I'm on the edge of my seat following this group into the jungle where humans haven't been for centuries.

Continues to be really interesting with the discussion of the newest tech in archaeology and very much appreciated the "down and dirty" history of Honduras from the 19th century to now.

Although I can see how readers might find it slow going and largely unfocused.
