I’m struggling to get through this if I’m being honest, every single sentence kind of demands the same importance as in a slam poem. It reminds me of Brand New Ancients in that way.

It’s getting grating, Powers doesn’t leave any space for release of tension and I think that makes it harder for me to absorb the actual text.
