haven’t read for a couple days i’m just not eager to pick this one up but i’m gonna try

i’m worried i’m not getting into this. i’m reading it but im not really engaged in the characters like people say and you would think by now i would be. this is not my typical genre so maybe that’s why. i think the only character i enjoy reading is lorena and it’s probably because she’s a woman so i like her perspective more. if she comes along on the trip i would like that. too much male energy rn
