The first time I met Fuck-Nose, Chicago's stage manager, he jumped onto my trailer from the floor of the Philadelphia Spectrum, looked around, didn't tell me who he was, didn't ask who I was, didn't shake my hand, and just said, "I hate people."

Last but not least, I believe we bonded through the rejuvenating rush one gets from operating outside the law.

Only a few chapters in, and I've already laughed out loud multiple times. Raw and very funny tales from the 70s rock-n'-roll road.

Fuck-Nose sounds like my kinda guy. I’m imagining his name is Fuck-Nose because anytime anyone asks him something he says “fuck knows?”

Heh, so he's actually a more belligerent sort than that. It seems to have been because whenever he was asked anything, he would say, "fuck 'em in the nose." People then started calling him "fuck-nose" for short, though not to his face, as the author notes he was a Vietnam vet with a hair-trigger temper who packed a .45. I'm kind of imagining the John Goodman character in The Big Lebowski.
