Argh!!! I HAVE read this! And in the 1980s, too! "Worms and slugs and beetley bugs", and evil Grandma's dog butthole mouth, and calling his mother stupid, and the crunchy beetles in celery stems! Urgh! All of it, hideously stored in some dusty, disused filing cabinet in the back of my long-term memory!
