I had a much easier time reading today. Can’t determine if that’s because the last ~30 pages had a more episodic narratives that the previous ~30-60 pages or because I’m “getting it” now. prolly the former tbh. Quentin should seriously consider pursuing some straightforward accomplishments to ease his anguish. I hope next 100 pages are Q pursuing the $25 fish with the 3 boys. Forget this sister stuff ASAP

These stream of consciousness passages have me fantasizing about tearing up the book into fat chunks and burying chunks in my yard and then adding some human compost in top. This second narrator is NOT fit to be a storyteller 😡 Disgusting sister fucker is next level horrible at communication and I find 0 poetry in his words. Experiment: FAILED

I don’t feel like I’m in good hands anymore. Dude seems to want to punish me for attempting to read his book? This second section - possibly narrated by Jason(?) is laughing at me for trying to form any semblance of understanding. Ancient slang terms, unfamiliar *everything* 0 punctuation stream of consciousness… I just don’t care to decode this shit anymore. The Benjy section was amazing but I hate this now

I got to page 25 and then I started again from the beginning. First 25 pages were lost on me the first time. Second pass was v fruitful! Very excited to read this now that I feel like I’ve created my own understanding of what is going on. First allusion that came to mind is Julien Donkey Boy? Stylistically only - not trying to diagnose Benjy yet
