Aah, a dutch classic. I have only seen the movie so I added this to my list

Yeah I looked up easy Dutch stories for beginners and this was the first one. I'm gonna have to read it again once I fully understand Dutch but I know enough to where I can picture what's happening which is very exciting. I might have to watch the movie as well!
