Loved the inward humility chapter. I feel like there are some sentences that don’t make sense to me but the ones that do are so profound. He really is telling us that what is most important is that what we say about how we act needs to match our actions even if our actions and thoughts are not the best. Honest self evaluation.

I loved the section about inspirations! His parallel between how the steps toward temptation and the steps toward inspiration are opposite in sentiment but are the same process put things in perspective so well.

There are some powerful ideas that I have found on here thus far. Pages 14-16 remind us that God expects true effort that is steady rather than big improvements all at once. I think this reinforces the importance of what it means when the word “steadfast” is used in Christianity and I love how this led into a discussion about reconciliation. So far, I find it comprehensible yet academically stimulating.
