I'm 66% into the book and I'm fairly confident that a chapter was randomly removed. The end of one chapter, she's writhing on the ground, the beginning of the next chapter, she's fine and they are driving. She also mentions one (or two?) characters that we've never met before, but like, in a way that implies we should've - 'so-and-so was right...'

It's a bit jarring. :/
