“I need to think.” I swallowed.
“You do enough of that.” He rested his forehead against mine. “Do what feels right, not what you think is right.”
“That sounds like a dangerous path.”
“What is life if you cannot find something you love, and let it kill you?”

Ugh silassssssss

“Every day I spent without you those years ago was a day wasted. But the days that came after realizing that you were not coming back were the loneliest in my lifetime.”

“Is this treatment temporary?” “I do not know what you mean.” “Will it go away once you have everything you want?” “I have always had what I want, no matter the expense,” I scoffed. “You’re worth much more than that.” To me, I wanted to say. You are worth more than that to me. 

“Which word would you like it to be?” “Pest.” “No need for insults, I am trying to be nice.” “No, pest is the word.” “It sounds like you thought this through,” I chuckled. “I think you need a different one. You use that one too earnestly.”

I placed it in her hand guiding her finger to the trigger, and pointed it under my chin, her armed hand between my own, clasped like a prayer. Every second passed was another I could hear our hearts beat, one of hers was three of mine, and she owned every single one. She squeezed the trigger, the hollow click of an empty chamber following. “You did miss me.” “How could my heart forget a betrayal like yours?”

“Why do you look at me like that?” he spoke. “Why do you cry for me just to push me away? Like this isn’t a gamble on your life every time? Why must you dare me with the look in your eyes as if I’m not capable of consuming you whole?”

“Say it,” he breathed against my lips, and I embarrassingly held mine open for him, wanting a taste, craving it. “Your blood, your screams, your pleasure. They belong to me.”

“You are the same creature you’ve always been.” I swallowed. “Will I ever be rid of you?”
“In death, plausibly.” His lips lingered by my ear. “Mine or yours.”

LOVE HIM

“Don’t make me do something I’ll regret,” he whispered breathlessly. A drunken smile played on my lips, the image of him blurring in and out. “Do you regret me, Silas Forbes?” “Never.” He spoke low, lifting me away from the wall.

“Yes, you make me violently ill, crazed and feral at just the sight of you. Every godforsaken day, you are chronic. Incessant, ever present, and vicious, the way you leave me with phantom pains.”
