Ugh this book is rlly sad and upsetting and icky but very good.

The mom is in such denial so much so that it’s exhausting and frustrating but the whole thing is so sad

It’s interesting because the content and the topic of this book is very scary and disturbing, but I feel like you never hear about stories like this from the parent of the perpetrator especially the mom. At times youre thinkkng what’s wrong with you and at other times you do feel like you sympathize with her.

Idk if I’m liking this yet. Subject matter is very disturbing and as a therapist I’m trying to see things from the moms perspective but since I am not a mom, it is very difficult
