Why can´t GR have little less assumptions and understand that us, folks of the Southern Hemisphere are not having Summer anytime soon *coughs* so we obviously don´t need to plan our summer reading?? lmao
fyi: I promise i´m not salty about summer, tbh i love winter. I´m just being a little dramatic lol

If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because with a full time job, i don't really have summers anymore lol
Majo wrote: "A mi me molesta ver la imagen de verano cuando me estoy muriendo de frío XD"jajaja a mi me encanta el invierno, pero me carga ver la imagen como si todos estuvieramos en el mismo lugar. Animos con el frío!
Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because with a full time job, i don't really have summers anymore lol"Haha I don´t even plan more than 5 books ahead lol it´s just a little bothering seeing the image when is obvious not everyone is in the same place.
Haha hope you still get time to read tho, I´m finishing my masters at the end of this year and then I may not have summer´s either lol
Mel wrote: "Agree with you. I believe that they should do additional section summer/winter reads. :)"Yuppp, exactly what I think!
Inshirah wrote: "lolits always summer here at ceylon
worst part its also time for exams !!!!"
hahaha I don´t really like summer, but summer and exams , NOPE!
Good luck at slaying those exams :)

Hahah guys, I get you tho! But I don´t know how I´d survive living in a place where is summer all year long!! (Im too fond of cold weather, but ironically I want ot move to Australia next year lol)
Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because with a full time job, i don't really have summers anymore l..."Oh I get that, I barely plan for my next book, let alone more than that! But, that is a very fair point! Even though I know the seasons are swapped in the northern and southern hemispheres, I never think about it till I see posts like yours! Good luck finishing your masters! What are you getting your degree in?
Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because with a full time job, i don't really have sum..."I don´t plan all the time, but sometimes is more like "I´m gonna read this trilogy before reading this other book".
I get you, is easy to forget when eveyone speaks english because it feels like eveyone is nearer than we think, even when half of us have it as a second language lol
Thank you! I´m getting my masters in Marketing, and I really love it :)
What about you,? what´s that job that steals you from summer reading? ahaha
I totally hear yah. It's really annoying that there's always such a bias to when seasons begin and end in certain areas. Here in Canada we had snow yesterday (I'm not lying) it's far from summer, spring only just got here. But of course I'm supposed to be onto my summer reading or some such thing according to advertising.
I can't even imagine how annoying the season swap must be!!

Ahhh Canada! I´d love to go there someday. And I totally agree with you, that bias of just moving according one country´s existence is boring (*coughs* because we all know they aren´t considering anything but the US in this, and for the record I lived there for a year and really like it and the people too, I have nothing against them).
Damn, I knew you were getting more of a extreme weather, but woah spring over there is wild if is snowing.
I sadly am so used to not be considered in terms of seasons (or any other country/world stuff I guess), that I just don´t get surprised anymore. But it bothers me that I cant´t stop seeing the advertisement, even more because we have a location setting and they are obviously not using it, but oh well haha there´s not much we can do about it :P
TRUTH! I am salty, I feel like Melbourne never has a proper summer. What I wouldn't give for some predictable sunshine.

Ahhh I want to live in Australia someday!! I hear your summers are like HOT, but I guess not everywhere.
Over here (Chile) winter started real cold, it started later than usual but I feel like this one is going to be super cold (which I love because I love cold weather haha).
Hope you guys have a not too bad of a weather over there! (and hopefully @ jennifer you get some warmer days in summer!)
Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "TRUTH! I am salty, I feel like Melbourne never has a proper summer. What I wouldn't give for some predictable sunshine."Kat ^_^ wrote: "Preach girl!!! In Australia it's getting r..."
Ooooh let's trade!!! I was supposed to spend a month in Chile a few years back, just travelling around, and I had to cancel it right before it started because I was really sick. Definitely in my top ten regrets, ever. I think I'd mind the cold weather less if I occasionally got some sunshine and it wasn't so wet! I'm from California originally and I just really miss that climate. lol
Jennifer wrote: "Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "TRUTH! I am salty, I feel like Melbourne never has a proper summer. What I wouldn't give for some predictable sunshine."Kat ^_^ wrote: "Preach girl!!! In Australia ..."
Girl, you didn´t even imagine how HOT this summer was over here, I was about to ship myself to Antartica because I was so done!! Especially because I live in the capital, where the central valley gets hot summers and cold winters, but mostly mediterranean weather which is nice.
Omg, seriosuly how small is the world! I´m sure you´ll get another chance to come here someday :)
Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "TRUTH! I am salty, I feel like Melbourne never has a proper summer. What I wouldn't give for some predictable sunshine."Kat ^_^ wrote: "Preach girl..."
Haha ok that is the absolute worst. I visited a friend up in Sydney back in March and nearly died from the heat and humidity. I never realised how wonderful the weather was where I grew up until I started travelling and found out that other places have ridiculous seasons.
Yeah I am definitely going to make it there at some point. My goal is to go in the next couple of years. I can't even imagine how beautiful it must be there. I am jealous!

Yeah, but it´s not bad all the time, I guess global warming is messing with a lot of things.
I´m jelaous too! You are from Cali, which I´d love to visit, and live in Australia, which is basically my dream ???
The southern part of Chile is SO beautiful, I go visit my cousins and I always have such a great time.
Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "Talía wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "TRUTH! I am salty, I feel like Melbourne never has a proper summer. What I wouldn't give for some predictable sunshine..."Ugh lucky!!! =D
Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because with a full time job, i don't r..."Lol that is very fair! I do that too, but then sometimes I still end up not sticking to that so I don't do it very frequently lol.
Yeah, and I do feel terrible for thinking it, but when it's what you're surrounded by, it's what you think of! And so many people speak English that it is hard to know if it's their first language or not, especially over the Internet! What's your first language? I'm so interested in languages and wish I was better at studying them!
Awesome, that's great! One of my undergraduate degrees is in marketing, so I get it! I'm glad you love it! It was definitely really fun for me when I was taking classes in it. I am an investment accountant, which isn't all that great lol. It's actually pretty boring and our company is outsourcing a lot of our work, but I actually just accepted a new position in a different company so fingers crossed it works out better lol. I do wish I had more time for reading though! I miss being able to read all the time haha
Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because with a full time ..."Hahah it happens to all of us tbh
I totally get you, maybe because that´s not my reality I can see that easier than others. I´m a native spanish speaker haha I live in Chile, but all my social media is in english because I like it more :P I wish I was good at learning more, I´d love to be fluent in german or italian.
Oh no, that sucks. I´m sending good vibes to you, so that new job works out better for you Katie! It´s not worth it if you ain´t enjoying it, so hopefully you get more challenges and fun times at this new position. I get you, maybe not in the same level, but since my masters started I´ve been so busy that I can´t dedicate the same amount of time to reading that I did before. But oh well, I do appreciate the time I do, hopefully you get more time as well :)
Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in years because wit..."That is definitely fair! And that's awesome! I definitely thought you were a native Spanish speaker, but I didn't want to just assume it without asking. I want to visit South America! In particular Argentina because my grandfather was from there, but I've always wanted to see Chile as well. And lol, that is awesome - I actually changed my phone to Spanish a few months ago so I could get better at understanding when I see it - I'm not sure it worked well for me though lol. I would also love to learn Italian!
Awww thank you so much! :) But yes, exactly. I hope the new position is great too, but I feel like it's still not going to be something long term for me - but I guess we'll see! Yeah, I can imagine! School, and definitely graduate school, can take up so much time that it can be hard to find time to read. But I'm glad you appreciate when you do and maybe when you're done, you'll have a little more time (even though you'll probably be working full time as well)!
Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer reading in yea..."Haha it´s okay, I have met people (when I was in exchange in Texas) that assumed I was a native spanigh speaker but they´d ruin it with the "oh so where in Mexico are you from?" *sigh* I do see why would they assume that tbh, but why ughh haha anyways. That´s so cool that your grandfather is from so close to me, like what a small world. I hope you get to come someday, I haven´t been in Argentina, but I know lots of people that said it has beautiful places, and *coughs* Chile is pretty damn beautiful too, not that I´m biased or anything lmao
Haha I changed my settings like in 2009-2010, when I started feeling more confident in the language (i taught myself english practically) and all my social media was in english bc I got to talk to more people, especially in twitter. I´m so used to it know, but hey little steps, wait until the year mark and it will feel more natural.
Well life is about changes and nothing is permanent, maybe you will like that job and then a new opportunity will come that you will like more. So I hope whatever happens is full of good things :)
Haha yeah, but even if I get little time compared to before, I guess we just have to appreciate the good books, no matter how much more we could read if we had more time haha
Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "Talía wrote: "Katie wrote: "If it makes you feel better, I live in the northern hemisphere, but I haven't worried about summer ..."NO. I want to personally apologize for every American who thinks all of Latin America is Mexico. I am so sorry. People can be really dumb sometimes haha. Yeah, I've definitely wanted to visit for years, and from taking Spanish in school, I've wanted to visit most South and Central American countries! Maybe one day I'll get there! And I do want to visit Chile for sure! :)
Oh that's awesome! And good job for teaching yourself English, it's really good! And yeah, I just have to keep practicing and studying it and I'm sure I'll get better!
Thank you! That's so sweet of you! :) I hope good things come to you as well, with your masters and what comes next!

Yeah, practicing really helps to get better! But also the will to actually want to learn, and Im sure you have it so soon you´ll see that there´s improvement,
Thanks for all the good vibes Katie! <3

Yeah, and that is very true! I just need to manage my time better to work on it more, because I really do want to learn! I just have so much going on that I haven't done a great job in allocating time towards it.
