"Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean" will never not hit hard. What a line. & what meaning too! The idea that the citizens of Verona can't be considered innocents because they've been collateral to the Montague/Capulet rivalry, and how its driven them to violence, is also immediately paid off in the first act with how the citizens respond to the conflict which breaks out.
