She's trying to do too much. Like sub plots are fine but we don't need 15 that keep stacking and changing and you think one thing is something but oh wait, its not, hang on wait it is. Its too much. Simple plot lines with like maybe 2 or 3 subplots are fine, but this is too much. most of this book has just been exposition, enough is enough.

It's getting interesting again, some sword fighting and trying to solve the major plot point, finally.

I would actually be so frustrated in poppy's position. Like she is trying to have a serious conversation and Casteel is only thinking about sex. Like grow up, seriously. I would yell at him to stop if I were in poppy's place
