It’s taking me a bit longer to adjust to the fact that our POV is not one of the pilgrims on Hyperion.
It’s not my favourite creative decision thus far as I want more of the perspective of those characters which we followed so closely before. However, I’m willing to give it a chance and see why Simmons wrote it this way.
