I thought this would be a smutty little book. It is, don’t get me wrong. But it’s also making me cry buckets. I’m so hurt for Cooper, the way Patrick ended that scene and was just ”I need to be alone” fuck that. And then he lashed out again when the truth about Coopers fox came out and he fucking weaponized his trauma. I’m a bit broken. And I don’t forgive Patrick yet.
