i read the description, and it's set in spain? if it's after the time of muslim rule in spain, it'd be understandable if the muslims later became lower-class when the spanish took back reign

I'm pretty sure muslims also ended up being expelled and/or persecuted in spain during this time period too so I wonder if this book is going to touch on that at all
