Oh, Graham and Anna are putting up guards against their heart

Okay, so we meet Graham’s family- his mom, Roland the servant, Ginny, and Tabitha. :) (aka Tabs)

Anna loves her Dad deeply, and she said this line that made me smile and also feel sympathetic for her. “all men were glorious charmers, all aiming lovely words at their latest ambition. The only man who'd never wanted anything from me was Papa, and it seemed even he had other priorities of late.”

Dang! We’ve met and learned more about Graham Everett and Anna/Annie Lanr ( so far; their dialogue is making me think of dislike to lovers/enemies to lovers)
