The Fool being in the presence of Fitz, while he’s in the mountains and not to be leaving the King’s side, is super odd to me. Even the way he talks to him…saying “my lord” or being overly chivalrous (not something he does with Fitz), makes me think that Fitz is Skilling into the mind of King Shrewd while they’re both sick and bedridden. We shall see.
