I don't understand Tobin's character motivation at all really. Her pilot job and past injuries is too dangerous for her to have a relationship but that doesn't stop her from wanting to be a single mother? Like a child wouldn't be just as much pressure. Maybe it's that I have no parenthood drive but to me one of those sounds higher stakes than the other, and its not dating.
