Activities look gnarly this week. 😵‍💫

Okay, girls. I guess I'm in it to win it. I have the task list for week one and am actually really excited. I'll run it Sunday to Sunday like she suggested and take notes. Let's see where we go. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Calling to her inner child instead of God in a formal sense during morning pages. Once again not seeing the connection everyone made regarding this being a huge shove for Christianity and religion particularly because she's literally telling you in the first thirty pages of the book the answers you need are in you lol.

" It is very difficult to complain about a situation morning after morning, month after month, without being moved to constructive action. The pages lead us out of despair and into undreamed-of solutions."

Kinda interesting that she's breaking down morning pages and relinquishing a lot of stuff down to the left brain/right brain argument. Not too sure how I feel about that yet. Also not too sure why there were so many ppl complaining an the use of "God" when she clarifies that you can use anything in place of the word, and the way she's using it is literally as an acronym for "good orderly direction"...

"We tend to think, or at least fear, that creative
dreams are egotistical, something that God wouldn’t approve of for us.
After all, our creative artist is an inner youngster and prone to childish
thinking. If our mom or dad expressed doubt or disapproval for our
creative dreams, we may project that same attitude onto a parental
god. This thinking must be undone."
