In Australia today, we, the settler-colonists, are privileged in having diminished the Indigenous population so drastically that we still gain the upper-hand in reconciliation. Think of Alice Springs: there remains a surviving presence which frightens the white bully. Israelis cannot be allowed to become the majority for this same reason.
