This kind of sparse prose works for, say, the first 150-200 pages or so, but after 300 pages of primarily dialogue and action being prioritized over interiority, it gets boring. But lemme see maybe something changes by the end.

I gave it 3 stars but I’m now contemplating whether I actually liked it
It starts well but it loses momentum I think. And also too much freaking dialogue built around - You okay?
