Wow. This just gives me The Walking Dead vibes, but without the zombies. Could only imagine the anxiety this would have given me if read prior/during covid. Absolutely hooked to this story. Challenging to keep track of all the characters initially, but the diversity in the cast is what keeps the pages turning.
