Tessa is still a heavy-handed brat, but the plot is plotting.

Tessa is entering her villain era, but it’s giving more helpless, reactive adolescent than powerful, vengeful queen. She’s never behind the wheel of her own life, even now. She is so easily played despite being distrustful, and for someone with so much rage at her incredibly traumatic life, it doesn’t feel believable. I find her incredibly irritating and surprisingly one-note.
