I feel like the reason why Willem cares so much for Jude is because he couldn’t be there fully for his brother. However, it seems like Willem may love/care for him sm that he’s actually scared to find the answers to Jude’s problems. He’s trying to ignore it and trust Jude, but this leads to him hating himself and regretting it because he knows it’s not anything good.

Willem = Uncertain in life but he’s not upset b/c he realizes that he’s able to live the life HE wants and make of it compared to his family. Sometimes wish he’d be able to go back to them.
Malcolm = Ppl tells him that he dk what it’s really like to be black b/c he’s biracial. Also he’s financially stable. Parents’ expectations are holding him back. Still can’t find his purpose in life.

Ok there’s a lot to keep track of lowk but everybody feels alone in their own way. Malcolm’s financially stable, but he dk what to do with his life. JB’s pursuing art, but he doesn’t feel belonged socially and his true self ?? Dk much abt Jude but he’s hiding from his traumatic past. Willem wants to do acting but is struggling with self-doubt even though he looks to be “perfect” which JB is envious of.
