After (finally) spending time reading a larger portion of the book I think I understand the book even more now. So far, i feel like the main factors that contribute to the ignorance of the world is the simplification, instinctive nature, and commercialism we humans have grown used to or were biologically born with. I could see how all of these factors play into each other because to survive, we expect the worst.
