Currently liking book 2 and the plot more than book 1. But it still feels… dry. Idk how to explain it. I don’t feel any chemistry between Arin and Essiya. And the story feels really disjointed, not like Essiya is growing as a character naturally, but more like she’s being pushed by the author to change in big leaps which don’t connect???
