Woah, this non-fiction has me instantly hooked. This is so long winded, and includes so much detail I find myself rereading some pages twice. I feel like I will fully experience the best and worst parts of Chicago.

So cool that it is set in the late 1800s and includes so many historical references… Pre world wars. Second wave industrialization. Just cool.
