Dylan has the emotional maturity of a toddler. Whichever of the two guys she is toying with who is in front of her is the one she is into. Everything that is wrong in her life was obviously her mom's fault. Sure, I've met plenty of people like this in my life (I knew a woman who literally blamed everything wrong in her life on her mother), but they aren't the people I wanted to read a book about

Okay, well written and intriguing but.... Does this girl seriously not see what a jerk her dad was to her mom? I mean, I get why she likes hanging with him more than with her mom, but every time she recalls a memory, her dad is being a jerk to her mother. I understand why she, as a child, might not have seen it, but at 30 she should probably get it.
