The suspense is getting higher as news starts to spread and people get tense as big events start happening that trigger the family to be scared and on top of that the family is not in good terms right now as they are in many suspenseful conflict between them is occurring

My reaction to this chapter is they are getting more comfortable and start learning the way to actually act in these situations

My reaction to day two is what I thought would happen if there was a drought I am not surprised but interested on what is currently going on in this part of the book

In the second half of day one the family starts panicking and goes out to look for water in stores, they are too late for water so get ice instead they go home to store the ice while people try and ask for some or help them and expect a bag. They get home put one in the bathtub and the rest in the freezer, they turn on the TV and see no news station broadcasting information about the “tap out”.

So far what has happened is a family’s water has shut off and all the people who are supported by the Colorado river for water supply have been shut off and used for emergency services only and the girl is stressing their supply of water already.
