!!! Dang this is setting up a good bridge to the next book. Loved this one so far, it truly warmed my heart to hear Ayla come back more and more from her injury. Excited to see more unfold.

Wow, dragon fighting has gotten much more intense and effective. Ruderal as well as awesome, I like his ability in sensing and manipulating enneagrams. He’s going to be very cool later on. I’ll be sad to see him move on from his apprenticeship.

Queen Grendine!! Wow I was not expecting that. What a plot twist. The politics go so deep and the story is just amazing imo. I’m here for it. I’m excited to see how the sci fi elements and the forsaken are told and explained. I’m starting to understand the story as a whole now.

Minalan is such a cool character. John Lee is also a great voice actor and narrator, this audiobook series would not be what it is without him.

Wow, I see how this series is turning into a sci-fi series. I love how several books later we are getting some resolution to the order of the secret tower. I’m excited to hear more about who these people are and (I’m sure) how the characters plan to bring the ship back to Callador

Dang! Not the casualties I was expecting. The loss of Aronin and Aeratas was tough tho. I’m actually shocked, I was sure Aronin would be there for the restoration of Anthatiel with Ameras. Seems she’s not only heir but the ONLY person who knows the location of the armory. I’m sure Minalan will find it but dang that is crazy that Aronin still would not explicitly share the location. Definition of SOB.

I definitely did not see the betrayal of Shereul coming! Korbal is the new big bad using Shereul as a weapon.. dang. And I’m barely 60% of the way through the book! I have a feeling in this fight for the last of the group to escape someone is going to die or get captured. It’s gone too well so far.

DAAAAAAANG Aronin done manipulated Min almost 10 books ago what a reveal. That’s crazy, all this war going on and we still have some bombshells dropping. More to come I’m sure of it. I’m excited, I really am going to be sad when this series comes to an end.

It seems like every book we gear up and prepare for some major battle or major event and I am here for it! I love this series, it’s going to take another book or series ALOT of work to surpass Spellmonger. Work of art in world building Terry.

This book is another great addition to the series. I like that Minalin has been doing everything he can to try and restore Alya. I think there is a very grand reunion on the way or something very real. I've been enjoying Rondal and Tyndal's story as well! It has been super cool to see it develop and at times, their storyline is even better than Minalin's.
