So here is me trying to embrace my disability and not be so ashamed for needing accommodations.
I have lived my ENTIRE life with only doctors, family and teachers knowing I have single-sided deafness (left ear only functions as 10%, with no auditory discrimination). I finally decided this past year to be more open about it, but damn my hyperindependence! It's hard. Better late than never right?
