Parts 7 and 8 finished. Am entire journey on a ship, we’re now in the West Indies and Fergus married a 15 yo. John gray is of course the gov for Jamaica… shenanigans shall follow

Part 6 complete. A lot of lore drop and some sad fires, young Ian sure is a handful!

I’m loving the nods to romance novels, not only Jamie reading one (hilarious that he actually loved it) but Claire forming a friendship with a black man over them too. Since Nora Robert’s loves this series, maybe it’s a nod to her

Part 4 complete. Weird basically rape of a 17 yo beside, I’m glad Jamie found peace in the Lake District. So sad he had to leave his kin behind, but he’s a fertile lad. I’m also glad Roger is so smart and can find all this evidenced to allow Claire to maybe join him again… let’s be real we already know that will happen

Part 3 done. I’m still liking how this is written, both perspectives. It’s also John gray heavy, finally meeting this character!

Part 2 done. Can’t believe Fergus lost a hand! Poor Jamie being cooped up there, I sincerely worry for Jenny and everyone at home.

Nope not dead just handless

Part 1 done. Super short part so not a lot to talk about except Jamie’s timely escape
