Reading about ww2 freaks me out because mine — and a generation of other’s — grandfather(s) made it back and like. We carry that epigenetically?. The horror of it; you’re told as a kid your grandparent fought in xyz war, but that only means so much when you’re a child. when you’re an adult, especially today when we are exposed to atrocities constantly, the reality of what that means is jarring.
