I started this because I had just finished North and South and thought this would be a nice peaceful read during chores. 4 hours in and I'm LIVID at Mr. Gibson and Claire/Hyacinth, and just shocked at how invested I am and how furious Gaskell is making me. 😂 peaceful my foot.
