As much as I was getting annoyed with Simon's incessant pining for Kristen, I have to say, this particular chapter about him ripped my heart out. 😭

I'm finally starting to understand Simon a bit. These last few chapters have given him a crazy character arc....

The amount of guilty Kristin carries reminds me of the similar guilt that stemmed from 90s purity culture to that end I feel for Kristin and want her to feel forgiven. But I get that her whole story is about coming to grips with sin and findding the grace of God, but a small part of me wants her to find it a little bit faster....
