ykw reading this rlly does reinforce how thoroughly mediocre i believe emerald fennell to be and not just in the oh 'detached tory' way but like..how much of this, visual aesthetics, characters etc. in saltburn is just a DIRECT lift from this book bcs like..honestly? galling 🫡🫡 not that it's bad but just.. like alright

charlie spring i will know now in extensive detail the importance of you having that ugly poster, of which i own the book, why its on your bedroom wall. immediately exceptionally homoerotic, thinking of 'in memoriam', and saltburn (which i disliked a lot) specifically ripped this off its pages lmfao.
