Finished the battle on Tempest’s side. I honestly think it would’ve gave a better sense of satisfaction if no one was left alive. With that all done and well, the exciting stufff are finally to come, yeah?

That report from Laplace seems fishy.

So everything from this point on will be the cleanup. I honestly get the feeling that once I finish this arc, I will feel like I rushed through things a bit. Kinda the feeling I got after finishing Mushoku Tensei.

Some character-focused battles out here.

I’m still not convinced Gadora is really on Rimuru’s side at this point.

The labyrinth battles are about to be done. Looks like the volume will end here, then the heavy hitters will appear in the next book.

My reading speed is really this bad without focus. It looks like the war is going to end quickly, though. I wonder where Rudra and Velgrynd would make a move themselves.

Well that was quick. Seeing how Testarossa and Ultima took care of their first enemies, it left me with this realization that there were a lot that I didn’t know exactly about the magic system in this world. I will take care of that before moving on to the next part of the war.

Stopped near the end of the chapter where the war started. It was great seeing Rimuru’s army actually take action. The various tactics that had to be employed for a battle that could’ve been finished easily had any of the top commanders took the stage, were definitely showing themselves in full picture.
