I don’t like the demonization of Human Giver Syndrome. i see the difference between assisting others because you’re a good person vs constantly burning yourself out for the sake of others but the way the authors talk continuously throughout the book about the harms of giving too much and how we need to take more time for ourselves… i don’t know if im convinced
