I was not expecting this part getting back to this book. They encounter the beast that was on top of the cliff in the forest area it came and attacked them Marco was the one to puncture it with the weapon that was half broken. It was now bleeding green blood. It had chomped down on the stick along with Marco sending it and him over the cliff of the volcano. Wow so crazy.

Finally reaching the top where some kind of creature could have been at the top but was nowhere to be seen and there was a long stretch of land on top. There was a forest just in the distance that they could see. Before going any further they threw a rock but no movement of any creature. Now they had to figure out where to go next.

They made the climb to the top of Mount Onyx they were exhausted by the time they made it there they could see the very top of the mountain peak from where they were. It was a real climb for an athlete which they were not.

Now we are getting somewhere trying to figure out the coded message on the rock taking out the letters of Burt Wenders now they have a message Other half on peak in tub but what does it mean? They would figure it out the next day hopefully.

Another weird chapter talking about Wenders and what a weird guy he was and the topic of the rock they have in their possession with the writing on it and what it meant.

That was an unusual chapter about Jack I believe waking up from a treatment he doesn't remember happening. Not much happens.

They were protecting energy that was stored in a loculus like a light bulb. Each one had powers there were seven. One to fly, the second to become invisible, and more. Suddenly the background music that was playing was making things happen the bones of a giant skeleton began to move reforming in the air. It began to gross sharp teeth. It was a reptilian giant with scales all along its body. This was scary.

This is a transition chapter it seems to slow its like they are getting ready for something and there is a bit of world building when they start talking about Qalani. Its like a goddess of Atlantis and she was part of other rulers King Uhla'ar the Queen herself Qalani and her sons Karai and Massarym.

They are finally found from capsizing in their boat. Turns out Marco was claiming to have organized the escape from the institute. The said that it was very dangerous that this happened because of what happened to Aly she almost died because of the sickness in her and not from drowning. They were really hard on them considering that they needed to get these powers first as they were in competition with others.

Its time to leave they get into the boat not wanting to because its night about this time and the other whales or something could be in the ocean maybe a shark that could get them but this was their only chance at survival. The waves were getting harder to navigate its not until the end of the chapter that they flip over and fall into the ocean.
