After an interesting intro, chapter 1 does some spectacular whitewashing of Reagan's early government. Richard Allen's resignation is casually mentioned; no mention of corruption. So is Al Haig's replacement, with no mention of his very relevant comment of sending a nuclear strike. Nor how the defense industry doubled their spending on lobbying.
